BJP to take inter issue to president K. Laxman
Hyderabad: BJP Telangana president K. Laxman said on Monday that while intensifying the agitation on the Intermediate results controversy in the state, the party will also take it up at the national level.
He said that a BJP delegation will meet President Ram Nath Kovind, Union home minister Rajnath Singh and National Human Rights Commission on May 9 and 10 to complain about the botched up results.
Mr Laxman said that the BJP will form four teams, which will meet the families of the students who committed suicide because they thought they had failed the exam.
On May 11 and 12, deeksha will be conducted in every Assembly constituency across the state for one day and on May 15 and 16, the meetings will be held with the parents of Inter students,
Mr Laxman alleged that the state government has colluded with Globarena Technologies, which handled the software, and that is why no action has been taken against the company. He said if a judicial inqu-iry was ordered, the persons who are behind Globarena will be revealed.
He alleged that though the BJP is protesting in a peaceful manner, the state government is ordering detentions. He demanded that action must be taken against Globarena and Board of Intermediate Educ-ation secretary Ashok Kumar.
Mr Laxman criticised Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for touring the districts for summer vacation. He said after the NDA government comes to power at the Centre, it will fight to end family rule in Telangana.
