Hyderabad: A video showing an unidentified man carrying a pack of alcohol bottles wrapped in a paper bag and giving to a person, reportedly a police officer, sitting in a patrolling vehicle has gone viral in social media.
According to sources, the incident occurred at Madhura Nagar under SR Nagar Police Station limits.
When contacted, ACP Panjagutta, Vijay Kumar said that an enquiry will be launched and CCTV cameras of the area will be checked upon to identify the patrol car.
“Based on the enquiry findings, action will be taken accordingly,” said the official.
Earlier, the pictures of a cop urinating on the roadside after parking his patrolling vehicle on the roadside went viral, drawing flak from various circles.
