PM Modi betrayed jobless youths, says NSUI chief

Unemployed youth have turned to shining shoes, as the government is unable to provide jobs to them.

Hyderabad: Members of the TS unit of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) staged a protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Indira Park by polishing shoes following a nationwide call.

Speaking to media persons, NSUI state president Balmoor Venkat criticised the BJP saying that the Prime Minister betrayed the unemployed youth in the country by making unrealistic promises.

“Unemployed youth have turned to shining shoes, as the government is unable to provide jobs to them. The Congress, soon after assuming power, will assure an income guarantee scheme for all the sections in the country,” Mr Venkat said.
