Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences gets new OP block

The hospital started with four departments: Gynaecology, orthopaedics, general medicine and surgery.

Hyderabad: The Outpatient department at the Bibinagar unit of the Nims was started on Sunday by health minister Dr C. Laxma Reddy and local MP B.N. Goud.

The hospital started with four departments: Gynaecology, orthopaedics, general medicine and surgery. It is expected to cater to Nalgonda, Warangal, Medak, Ranga Reddy and Mahbubnagar districts, besides to residents on the city outskirts along the Warangal highway.

Nims director Dr K. Manohar said, “We need more than Rs 60 crore to make all facilities operational and complete the work on the building. The proposal was submitted to the government.”
