Hyderabad: Nalsar University wins 2 International competitions

Of the 31 teams which participated NALSAR India has emerged as the winner.

Hyderabad: Two International Moot Court competitions have been won by the students of NALSAR University of Law. The NALSAR team has been qualified to represent India in the world rounds of the moot court competition.

Mooting is a oral presentation of a legal issue or problem against an opposing counsel and a judge. It is the closest experience that a student gets in the university to appearing in court.

Of the 31 teams which participated NALSAR India has emerged as the winner. The Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot Court Competition had the NALSAR team comprising of Jahnavi Singh, Manjri Singh, Rithvik Mathur and Unnayan Mishra.

Prof. (Dr.) V Balakista Reddy, Registrar of NALSAR said “Mooting is an important activity of the legal curriculum and winning the International moots is a great achievement for university.”
