The syllabus of commerce stream is very vast and hence the students should prepare for the examinations well in advance.
There is hardly one month is remaining for the final examinations and hence there is no time to keep revision to the eleventh hour. Ideally, it should be done at least one day in advance. More time and effort should be spent on important portions.
The students should take care to have proper sleep before the exams and reach the exam hall at least half an hour before the start of the exams. This helps them relieve tension and relax.
Since the invigilators have to put their signature against each subject in the hall ticket each day in the case of state stream students, they should be careful not to lose it. Issue of duplicate hall ticket is not easy.

One should not panic seeing the size of the question paper as they are printed both in Malayalam and English. Make use of the cool off time (15 minutes for each subject ) properly by reading the questions carefully.
Some questions may have choices. Take it seriously and answer the questions which you know the best. Don't waste time by answering all the questions if that section has choices. Answer first the questions which you are more confident of.
While answering business studies, give importance to points of the topic rather than the number of paragraphs that you write. Figures should be clearly written while answering accountancy paper.
The question numbers of the questions to which you write answers should be clearly written in the answer sheets. One word question should be answered in one word only. Writing the full sentence is a waste of time.
Students are advised to practise time management. Moreover, they should try and develop a positive thinking so that they can face the examination confidently.
The first year students should try their best to achieve the maximum score so that they can concentrate well at the second year studies. Otherwise they shall be forced to do the improvement exams in the midst of the second year studies.
