Auto driver returns lost bag with Rs 10 lakh

After getting down the auto, the duo realised that they forgot the bag in the auto and they did not note down the auto number.

Hyderabad: An autorickshaw driver from the city was lauded for returning a cash bag forgotten by passengers during their ride on Wednesday.

According to Gachibowli police, Jarpula Ramesh, a resident of the city is an autorickshaw driver. On Wednesday, two persons Kothuru Krishna and Kothuru Prasad both natives of Siddipet have come to Sriramnagar in Gachibowli. They were carrying Rs 10 lakh cash in a bag which they wanted to use for the construction of a building.

After getting down the auto, the duo realised that they forgot the bag in the auto and they did not note down the auto number.

When Ramesh noticed that the passengers have forgot their bag, he opened the back to check if he can find any clues regarding the passenders. After he found cash in it he immediately drove to Gachibowli police station and handed over the bag, where, Krishna and Prasad were already present.
