Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary to shift by June 1
Hyderabad: From the coming June 2 onwards office of AP Chief Secretary will function from Vijayawada. AP Chief Secretary S.P. Tucker intends to shift his office to Vijayawada by 1st June 2016 as decided by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Mr Tucker held a meeting with his peshi staff two days ago and told them the office will be shifted to Vijayawada by June 1. It is learnt that he sought the response of staff in this regard. Chief Secretary’s office will function in the premises of CM’s camp office at Vijayawada.
The construction of temporary secretariat will be completed by the end of June according to the tender schedule issued by AP Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA). But the government is making efforts to complete the construction before to the deadline.
State government has announced 2% bonus to the contractors if they finish the construction before dead line. If the contractor completes the construction before June he will get about Rs 3.6 crore as bonus.
