Janmabhoomi changed face of villages: N Chandrababu Naidu

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that Janmabhoomi is changing the face of every village. All the villages will get all facilities due to the programme, he said. He reviewed the Janmabhoomi programme through teleconference with the officials. Mr Naidu said that the hard work of the officials in the last three-and-ahalf years has reflected in the state. Roads, drains, drinking water, power, education, health and other infra are being provided in all the villages and people are satisfied, he claimed.

On the first day of Janmabhoomi, 3 lakh people participated and on the fourth day, 6.54 lakhs people participated. In the last four days, 4,68,063 complaints were received in Janmabhoomi, but only 1,52,444 have been uploaded, the Chief Minister said. He instructed the officials to upload all the applications and solve them in real time. If they not solved, people will be unhappy, he added.

The Chief Minister has mentioned that if officials work committedly, the results will be perfect. He said that the utilisation of NREGS funds was the best example for it. Using these funds, all villages are being provided with infrastructure. About 95 pc of the public opined that officials have participated in the Janmabhoomi.
Over 73% of the people have opined that the response of the officials is good and 86% of the people have stated in the survey that the Janmabhoomi programme is useful.

According to the reports, 69 pc of the applications concerning pensions, 67 pc regarding ration cards, 71 per cent regarding Chandranna Bheema were solved during the programme.
