Hyderabad: A 65-year-old agricultural labourer was killed in an accident in Shamirpet on Thursday. The mishap occurred when a speeding car hit K. Ramulu while he was crossing the road. Police said K. Ramulu, hailing from the Srikakulam district of AP, had come to Hyderabad around 30 years ago, and settled in Shameerpet.
On Thursday while crossing the road near Katta Maisamma temple a car hit him. Ramulu sustained a severe head injury and was killed on the spot.
Police registered a case against the car driver. Ramulu is survived by his wife and two sons.
