Three-day holiday for schools and colleges after demise of CM Jayalalithaa

Chennai: The state government on Monday declared three-day state mourning following the demise of Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.

It also announced three days holiday for schools and colleges. As per the announcement made by the public department, the education institutions in the state will not function for three days from Tuesday. It also said the tasmac shops also will remain shut on Tuesday and Wednesday.
