Hyderabad: Slipper unit destroyed in fire

According to the officials, the fire broke out in the early hours of Monday when the unit was locked.

Hyderabad: Property worth lakhs was gutted following a fire mishap at a slipper making unit in Hyderabad’s Old City area early on Monday morning. 

Officials confirmed that no casualties were reported. According to the officials, the fire broke out in the early hours of Monday when the unit was locked. 

 

“Upon receiving a call, two fire tenders from Moghalpura and Chandulal Baradari were sent to douse the flames. The fire officials evacuated the people staying in the vicinity as a precautionary measure,” said the fire officials, adding that the reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
