Hyderabad High Court extends interim order on suspension of 2 Congress MLAs

Mr S. Sharath Kumar, the special counsel for Telangana government, had urged the court to extend the interim order.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Monday extended its interim order suspending the ruling of a single judge bench, which set aside the resolution of the Telangana Assembly to expel Congress MLAs Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and S.A. Sampath Kumar from the House.

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan and Justice S.V. Bhatt was dealing with the appeals by Assembly secretary V. Narasimhacharyulu and law secretary Mr V. Niranjan Rao questioning the single judge bench's order.

Mr S. Sharath Kumar, the special counsel for Telangana government, had urged the court to extend the interim order.

While extending the order, the bench adjourned the case.
