Visakhapatnam: A Technical Building was inaugurated at Materials Organisation, Visakhapatnam by Vice -Admiral H.C.S. Bisht, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command on Thursday.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Flag officers and personnel of the ENC.
Covering an area of 1,800 sq mts, the two-storey Technical Building would cater for office spaces of Controllerate of Technical Services (CTS) officers and staff of various sections such as Survey, Disposal, Project and Repairable Inventory.
The new facility also has a crane bay at ground floor with associated Storehouses of Repairable Inventory of Engineering, Electrical, NBCD & Communication equipment items.
The Technical Building has been constructed after the demolition of an old ex-Amba Storehouse.
