Hyderabad: A Class VII student studying in Telangana social welfare residential school committed suicide in Suryapet district on Thursday.
The boy Jala Venu, was a resident of Mellacheruvu district. However, the reason for the suicide is not known.
Jala Venu, the younger son of Sai-dulu and Veeramma was studying in Class VII and staying in the social welfare hostel located in Tunga-turthi. After Dasara vacation, he returned to the hostel on Wednesday evening.
On Thursday morning, after having breakfast, he read a daily newspaper and went to his room.
After a while, the hostel warden found Venu lying in an unconscious condition, frothing from his mouth. An unidentified pesticide container was found near him.
He was rushed to the district hospital, where he succumbed while undergoing treatment. Police has registered a suspicious death case .
