Engineering colleges will also be requesting the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to alter the teacher-student ratio to 1:20 from the present1:15 (Representational image)
Hyderabad: Private engineering, PG and degree colleges that do not follow biometric attendance from December will have be denied affiliation and the fee reimbursement facility.
This was one of the key decisions taken at a meeting convened by the TS Council for Higher Education on Wednesday.
It was decided to conduct a common entrance test for PG admissions in all universities. The tests would be distributed bet-ween universities depending upon the course.
