Heavy rainfall expected in Telangana
With the rains, the rainfall deficit in the state has come down to 1 per cent.
Hyderabad: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur in many districts in the state on Friday, as per the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
There was light to moderate rainfall reported in many parts of the state on Wednesday and Thursday as well as upto 60mm in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad and other places. With the rains, the rainfall deficit in the state has come down to 1 per cent. According to the IMD warning for Friday, “Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur in districts such as Adilabad, Nirmal, Komaram Bheem, Nizamabad, Medak, Siddipet, Karimnagar, Rajanna Sircilla, Peddapalle, Jagtial, Warangal, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Jayashankar Bhupalaappally, Khammam, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda.”
