Ready for debate with AH Vishwanath: Sa Ra Mahesh

Mysuru: Former tourism minister and JD (S) leader Mr Sa Ra Mahesh announced on Monday that he is ready to accept former state unit president-turned rebel Mr A H Vishwanath's challenge for a debate on the controversy that he had accepted money during 'Operation Kamala.'

He told the media here: “He (Mr Vishwanath) has created a situation where in politicians are not comfortable to face the public. You (Mr Vishwanath) are a political prostitute (raajakeeya vyabhichaari). Did you go to Mumbai, ditching JD (S) party, without accepting money? Let him swear in front of Goddess Chamundeswari that he has not accepted any money (not got yielded to operation lotus). I will swear in front of God that he has accepted money. I will resign as MLA if I am proved wrong. It is a war between dharma and adharma, let us discuss about my political life and his political life, let him come for an open political debate. People now know what one who was talking philosophy has become. You are a ghomuka vyagra (tiger in the guise of cow). Let people know your (Mr Vishwanath) real face, so come for an open debate," he added.

On his comment that Mr Sa Ra Mahesh was responsible for the downfall of coalition party, he said: "Let him point out my mistakes, let me rectify them."

While Mr Vishwanath had alleged that Mr Mahesh that poisoned members of Mr Deve Gowda's family, he said: “Yes I poisoned Deve Gowda family by bringing Mr Vishwanth who was sidelined in Congress to JD (S). During a meeting in Mr H D Deve Gowda's house, when he was suggested to contest for Lok Sabha elections, he insisted on contesting assembly elections. It was he who asked me to send money through his son (during elections).”
