Hyderabad: Tech zone makeover for summit
Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills Road No. 36 will be decked up till Madhapur for the Global Investors Conference in November. It will have a vertical garden, median greenery and will get a fresh coat of paint.
Different corridors were beautified during the biodiversity conference in 2014 for which the GHMC paid out Rs 70 crore for greenery, but all that work as deteriorated.
Hyderabad Metro Rail has been given the job of beautifying the stretch. “It will be a concept-based theme, with sculptures and paintings. A team to begin work by the end of September. The greenery too will be concept-based,” said a senior officer.
The western corridor from Madhapur to Gachibowli and Kondapur will get an infrastructure makeover. The GHMC west zone will spend Rs 20 crore on connectivity. A new road to the Shamshabad airport is being laid at Khajaguda Junction. The stretch towards Biodiver-sity Park in Gachibowli is getting a facelift. Work is going on for a new road at Wipro junction. The TS Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited (TSIIC) is carrying out white topping of the road from Infosys junction towards Shilparamam.
