Protests: Ganta Srinivasa Rao slams Jagan Mohan Reddy, Mudragada Padmanabham
Visakhapatnam: Coming down heavily on Kapu community leader Mudragada Padmanabham and YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao termed their agitations and hunger strike a farce. Talking to newsmen here on Friday Mr Rao said that both Mudragada and Jagan have been cheating Andhraites and misleading the youngsters with self proclaimed agitations.
Reacting to the Mudragada’s letter to CM N. Chandrababu Naidu in which he challenged Naidu and Lokesh to launch an indefinite fast for Special Category Status, Mr Rao said both Padmanabham and Jagan should hold the agitations in New Delhi instead of Andhra Pradesh where development process would be hindered with the agitations and bandhs. He blamed Mudragada for seeking support of Y.S. Jagan citing that Jagan is an immature politician.
A leader, who is dedicated to public interest should be discussed with the government and not with Opposition, Mr Rao pointed out. Throwing a challenge at the Mudragada, he said that the Kapu leader must name a government which has done better service to the community than Naidu led TD. Agitations and bandhs should be done for the right cause at an appropriate time, but Mudragada and Jagan have been disturbing the people in the state for the political mileage only, Mr Rao added.
