IMD Forecasts Rain for AP in Next Three Days

Visakhapatnam: The IMD, Amaravati has forecast rain for Andhra Pradesh in the next three days.

Its daily report said the cyclonic circulation over north and adjoining central Bay of Bengal now lay over the Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining north Odisha between 1.5 km and 7.6 km above mean sea level, tilting southwestwards with height.

Under the influence of the above system, many parts of AP are likely to get rains.

The weather office predicted heavy rainfall at isolated places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam on Friday. Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning are likely at isolated places over coastal AP and Rayalaseema on Friday.

Nellore recorded the highest temperature of 35.7 degrees Celsius in the state on Thursday, followed by 35.4 in Kadapa and 35.2 in Kavali. The remaining parts of AP recorded below 35 degrees C.
