No mention of Andhra Pradesh capital city in budget: MP
Union Government has not mentioned even construction of capital, industrial development, development of backward areas, says Rajahmundry MP.
KAKINADA: The MPs of East Godavari are disappointed with the Union Budget presented by Union finance minister Nirmala Sitaraman. They said that there were no allocations for the development of East Godavari as well as for the state.
Rajahmundry MP Margani Sribharat said that there is a need for sanctioning special funds to Andhra Pradesh as the state has been facing difficulties, after bifurcation. He said that they have kept lot of hopes on the Union Budget for getting funds for the development of the state. The Rajahmundry MP said that the Union Government has not mentioned even construction of capital, industrial development, development of backward areas.
