Chennai: After a long time the Tamil Nadu Assembly will meet in the evenings also during this curtailed session.
This is in the light of the modified business schedule decided on Friday in the backdrop of the Vellore Lok Sabha election slated for August 5.
This session of the Assembly will go on till July 20 only and to compensate for the loss in days, it will set both in the morning and evening to pass all the pending demands.
The Assembly is witnessing this necessity after few years, though daily sittings in the past usually got over by 2 pm.
