AP Secretariat to get a Vastu gate

Since last year, Gate No. 1 has been permanently closed on the advise of Vastu experts.

Hyderabad: Changes are being made to AP Secretariat buildings with the government deciding to one more gate in addition to the existing four. According to sources the government was adding the new gate on the advice of Vastu experts. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu used to use the first gate when operations at the Velagapudi Secretariat began in October 2016.

Last month, security officials suddenly blocked Gate No. 2, which was earlier open for general public and other officials, informing that Mr Naidu would be using the gate to enter the Secretariat. This, sources said, was done on the advice of Vastu experts. Since then, Gate No. 1 has been permanently closed and Mr Naidu uses Gate No. 2 along with officials and the general public. CRDA officials are bringing down the Secretariat compound wall between Blocks 4 and 5, to construct the fifth gate .

According to the experts, there should be five gates for good governance rather than four. Officials want to reserve Gate No. 2 for Mr Naidu, and open the new Gate No. 5 for officials and visitors. Even new ministers are still continuing in temporary chambers as the construction is not yet completed.
