Hyderabad: National Green Tribunal chairperson, Justice Swatanter Kumar attended the World Environment Day Celebration at Dr B.R. Ambedkar University on Monday.
The celebrations were held in collaboration with Council for Green Revolution. Keeping to the theme — ‘Connecting people to Nature,’ this year, Justice Swatanter highlighted the importance of connecting to nature and going back to the villages.
He also went on record to say that the NGT was willing to set up a tribunal in Hyderabad if the central government gave a nod. Other guests were K Bhikshapati, Director of National Academy of Construction and A. Narasimha Reddy, chairperson of Bar Council of Telangana and AP.
