Hyderabad: An unemployed 23-year-old BTech student Devaram Akash Reddy ended his life by suicide at his house in Hayathnagar in the early hours of Saturday.
Akash last completed his BTech year from Mahaveer Engineering college. During his final year he started searching for a job and he did not find one, got depressed ended his life by suicide, Hayathngar police said.
His father Srinivas Reddy noticed that he was depressed and tried to wake him around 3 am to counsel him but he did not respond.
Srinivas broke open the door and found his dead. Akash’s family members informed the police and he was rushed to a private hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
Police registered a case of suspicious death and shifted the victim's body to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem.
