Bengaluru: A 25-year-old man died on the spot after he lost control of his bike and crashed into a footpath near Yemlur Junction in the early hours of Saturday.
The deceased, Srikanth, was an employee with a private firm and a resident of Kadugodi. The accident occurred around 1 am on Saturday in the HAL traffic police limits.
Srikanth was on his way home after meeting his friends. When he reached the Borewell bus-stop near Yemlur junction around 1 am, Srikanth who was riding his bike at a considerable speed lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the footpath. He fell off his bike, suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot.
The police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Bowring Hospital for the postmortem.
