Hyderabad: A daily wager, who was working at a capacitor manufacturing company in Balanagar, suffered severe burns at work a week ago and succumbed to injuries on Saturday.
The deceased, identified as G. Spandana, 26 years, had received burns on the upper part of her body. Police had earlier booked a case on charges of causing injuries.
Balanagar Inspector B. Kishan Kumar said that the case will be altered to charges of causing death due to negligence, against the management of the firm. Spandana was working for Tibcon Capacitors.
According to police, Spandana, a resident of Moosapet was working at Tibcon capacitors on daily wages in the machine section where capacitors are imprinted with the name of the manufacturer.
While cleaning the print, the cloth accidently fell on the machine which caught fire, and it immediately spread on her clothes.
