Hyderabad: US Techie G. Madhukar Reddy's body is likely to arrive in Hyderabad on Friday. His cousin, who is a student in Arizona, and his distant relatives living in Chicago are making arrangements to bring the body back. Madhukar's friends in Bothell, Seattle, have also come forward to help the family to dispatch the body. “We are hopeful that the body reaches here before the weekend. The grief-struck family is waiting for the update from the US officials,” said Kondal Reddy, Madhukar’s uncle from Bhongir.
Relatives said that a police investigation has been launched, which is delaying the process. Meanwhile, Madhukar’s friends started an online campaign to raise money to pay for various charges for sending the body. Washington Telugu Samithi and Telugu Association of North America also have stepped in to help the family. Madhu, a software engineer from Bhongir, had committed suicide in his house at Seattle in United States. While the exact reason for the death is yet to be confirmed, his relatives said that 37 year Madhukar was reportedly depressed due to marital disputes. Madhukar had recently bought a new house in Seattle and had moved in.
