K T Rama Rao's Gaikwad' tip boomerangs

Chandrasekhar Reddy said that already a section of the media had reported an attempted suicide by a person.

Hyderabad: Congress and TD leaders on Wednesday asked municipal minister K.T. Rama Rao what action he wishes to propose for his father and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao who made tall promises but was ignoring implementation. Addressing a press conference, former MP V. Hanumantha Rao welcomed Mr Rama Rao’s statement asking people to beat with slippers anyone demanding a bribe in the 2BHK housing scheme. He wanted the minister to clarify on what action he would suggest against the CM who conveniently ignored his promises on fee reimbursement, farm loan waiver, 2BHK houses, 12 per cent reservations for Muslims and tribals etc.

Elsewhere, TD politburo member Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy said that already a section of the media had reported an attempted suicide by a person from Nalgonda when officials working in the Chief Minister’s Office demanded money from him for doing an official favour. He said corruption was rampant in Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha and in awarding of contracts by the government.
