Jishnu Pranoy's death case: The charge-sheet

Thrissur: The relatives of Jishnu Pranoy have accused the police of giving into the money power of Nehru group chairman P Krishnadas in the suicide case. They are justified given the status of the case at present.

The status
Krishnadas: The HC granted him interim bail on February 17, and then anticipatory bail on March 2. The state government and the mother of Jishnu moved the SC for getting the bail cancelled, but the apex court upheld the HC verdict. He was arrested on April 4 and released after questioning.

Sanjith K. Viswanath: The Thrissur sessions court denied him anticipatory bail, but the HC granted it. He was arrested on April 5

Sakthivel: Thrissur sessions court denied him anticipatory bail. Now absconding. His anticipatory bail plea may come up in HC on Thursday.

Praveen: Thrissur sessions court denied him anticipatory bail. Now absconding. His anticipatory bail plea is expected to come up in the High Court on Thursday.

Dipin: Thrissur sessions court denied him anticipatory bail. Absconding.

Thrissur rural police chief N. Vijayakumar: Questioning Sakthivel and C.P. Praveen is very crucial. We were not able to question and record the statement of any of these accused after registering FIR. We have issued notice to accused two to five to turn up for questioning.

K.K. Sreejith, uncle of Jishnu: The SIT made no headway even after blood stains collected from ‘torture cell’ of college was found matching with Jishnu’s blood group.

The police summoned Krishnadas to the office of Investigating officer Kiran Narayan for questioning on Tuesday evening to persuade Jishnu's mother Mahija from sitting on a protest in front of DGP office in Thiruvanathapuram on Wednesday.
