Chennai: CBSE regional officer K. Srinivasan said that CBSE board would not conduct any retest of class 12 math paper on May 1 terming it a rumour on Tuesday. Many students and parents came across the news on Tuesday that CBSE would conduct a retest of class 12 math paper on May 1. “I saw the news online that retest will be held. So I was very excited after hearing the news. But deep down I felt it might be a rumour. It has never happened that CBSE will go for a retest,” said a student.
A parent contacted the school to verify the news. “The school said it did not get any circular regarding retest of class 12 math paper,” she said. “It is a rumour that any retest of class 12 Maths paper will be held. We have not received any such information from the Delhi office,” said Srinivasan.
