Namo again' Yagam in Delhi

Nearly 40 Vedic Pandits across the country including from Konaseema of East Godavari will conduct the yagam.

Kakinada: A ‘Raja Syamala Yagam’ will be held in Delhi for eight days from March 10 to 17 to ensure that Prime Minister Narendra Modi stays in power.

The ‘Satha Rudra Sahitha Raja Syamala Maha Rudra Yagam’, to give it its full name, will be performed under the supervision of Pandit Srikakholapu Prasada Sarma of Velivennu in West Godavari district, who now stays in Chhattishgarh.

Lakhs of people are expected to attend the yagam and Mr Modi is expected to participate on March 17.

The organisers have named the programme ‘NaMo Again’. Nearly 40 Vedic Pandits across the country including from Konaseema of East Godavari will conduct the yagam.

The Raja Syamala Yagam is conducted frequently in North India, but was brought to light in South India by Telangana state Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao who performed it before the state elections.

He also completed his offerings by having darshan to Goddess Raja Syamala Devi at the Sri Sarada Peetham at China Mushiniwada in Visakhapatnam and took the blessings of the seer Swaroopanandendra Swami.

The organisers said all Union ministers and Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states, top party leaders and those of the RSS, Viswa Hindu Parishad, Dharma Pracahara Parishad and others are expected to participate.

As many as 108 seers from various peethams are expected to attend the yagam.

Shiva Kshetra Peetham seer Shiva Swamy, Datha Peetham seer Saidatta Naganandedra Saraswathi Maharaj, Tripura Shakthi Peetham pontinff Kapalanatha Giri and others will oversee the yagam.

Pandit Sarma said various pujas would be held every day like Punyavachanam, Mahanyasam, Navagraha puja, Sahasra Lingarchana, and Lakshmi Bilwarchana.

Leaders from AP, TS, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha and other states have reached New Delhi to oversee the arrangements.

There are plans to provide breakfast, lunch and dinner for the visitors.
