The drive has been conducted in co-ordination with the traffic and law and order police officials.
Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation on Tuesday suspended two town planning officials for committing irregularities.
Action was also taken against officials who did not take timely action on unauthorised construction at Pr. No. 5-4-1/1 situated at BJP office road, Kukatpally.
Orders have been issued to ACP, Circle No. 24, M. Keshav Reddy, and town planning and building overseer T. Vishal, placing them under suspension.
The civic body also issued charge memos to two other officials — ACP Dhaneshwar and B. Deepika who earlier worked in the same area.
Following the notices, the structure was pulled down on March 3.
