Bengaluru: Following the Supreme Court direction over effective implementation of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, the High Court on Monday took up a suo motu case and ordered notices to the government and authorities concerned.
The Registrar General of the Karnataka High Court has filed the petition seeking directions to the state government, department of child and women development, state commission for protection of child rights and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with the directions of the Supreme Court. The matter stands adjourned to March 16.
