Karnataka High Court dismisses plea against 78 MLAs

Bengaluru: The High Court on Monday dismissed a petition filed by the Janadhikara Sangharsha Parishath against the order of the Lokayukta rejecting its complaint against 78 MLAs, who had moved an impeachment motion against Upa Lokayukta Justice Subhash B. Adi.

The NGO had filed the complaint before the Lokayukta against the 78 MLAs, alleging intentional insult and bringing disrepute to Justice Adi. But the Lokayukta had dismissed it as not maintainable, citing that only the aggrieved person is eligible to file the complaint.
