HYDERABAD: Both the Congress and the BJP welcomed the Telangana High Court verdict that handed over the poachgate investigation to the CBI.
Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka demanded that the CBI should investigate similar poaching incidents of MLAs and MPs across all states.
“If this investigation takes into account all these poaching incidents, the people would know the reasons behind this trend. Earlier, we had taken up the issue with the law enforcement agencies,” he said, referring to the poaching of Congress MLAs by the BRS.
BJP state general secretary Gujjula Premender Reddy welcomed the poachgate verdict. In a statement, he said, the party welcomed the verdict that upheld the single bench order on handing over the investigation into the farmhouse case to the CBI.
