Hyderabad: Doctors of Pharmacy Association and student organisations have called for a bandh in the pharmacy colleges on Saturday to press for a ‘clinical pharmacist cadre’.
Doctor of pharmacy course was started in 2008 but the government did not create a cadre to categorise them for jobs. While the course continues, the government is not recognising them as key healthcare providers.
