Bengaluru: The Bangalore winter meeting races are scheduled to commence on Saturday. The original 29-day racing programme has been slashed to 15 days due to the licensing issue that halted the races on the BTC premises since Sept. 1 last year. The season will conclude on March 16.
“Because of the constrained financial position of the club, the number of races has been restricted to seven per day this season,” said V. Hari Mohan Naidu, Chairman, BTC.
