Thiruvananthapuram: The vigilance special court here has directed the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) to submit quick verification report into the allegations against ADGP Intelligence R Sreelekha. The Enquiry Commissioner and Special Court (Vigilance) gave the directive while considering a statement of Paichira Navaz, the petitioner against Sreelekha, that he was facing threat and pressure to withdraw the petition. The court had earlier directed the vigilance to file report by February 17. The allegations pertained to irregularities by Sreelekha while serving as transport commissioner.
