Belagavi: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah unveiled the permanent illumination of Suvarna Soudha in Belagavi on Monday, marking a transformative moment for the iconic structure's aesthetic appeal.

Assembly Speaker UT Khader, Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti, Belagavi district in-charge Satish Jarkiholi, Women and Child Welfare Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar, Social Welfare Minister HC Mahadevappa, along with other ministers and MLAs were present.

Traditionally confined to legislative sessions, Suvarna Soudha will now bask in the glow of permanent LED lights every Saturday and Sunday. This remarkable initiative is poised to captivate locals, students, and tourists throughout the year, providing an opportunity to witness the grandeur of Suvarna Soudha beyond the confines of legislative proceedings.

Suvarna Soudha was adorned in the hues of the tricolor and Karnataka's flag, extending an invitation to all to witness its perpetual display of elegance.
