Hyderabad: Revanth's kin's property damaged

Cyberabad police said that one watchman K. Satyanarayana alerted the police who rushed to the spot and arrested 15 persons.

Hyderabad: Gachibowli police arrested 15 persons who damaged the compound wall of a land belonging to Congress working president A. Revanth Reddy’s brother A. Kondal Reddy, at Gopanpally during the wee hours on Tuesday.

The police seized three earthmovers and three cars following a complaint from the farmhouse watchman.

A plot (Survey Nos. 127 & 128) located at Gopanpally in Serilingampally mandal of Ranga Reddy district, is under dispute between the two parties — Mr Revanth Reddy and Mr Kondal Reddy and members of the Razole SC Mutually Aided Co-operative Housing Society since 2014.

Nine cases have been registered in the case and the dispute was also referred to the RDO Court under Section 145 of CrPC, which is currently pending adjudication.

On Monday night, N. Peddi Raju and 14 others belonging to the Razole SC Mutually Aided Co-operative Society went to the plot and damaged a protective wall constructed by the Reddy brothers using earthmovers.

Based on a complaint given by the watchman, a case has been registered under Sections 447 and 427 r/w 34 of IPC, and seized three earthmovers and three cars from the accused who were damaging the property. Further investigation in the case is on, police said.
