Police kept on toes with Chandrababu Naidu's visits

Hard work navigating CM's convoy through traffic.

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is too eager to attract investments to the state and has been attending every function. Police and security personnel have had to struggle a lot to manage the traffic properly and manage security to CM.

Whether it is Jaguar car showroom opening, Andhra Bank new policy execution, IT job mela or a seminar, the Chief Minister has been ready to attend every programme despite his heavy schedule. Mr Naidu, who is running one-man show in the State Government, is involved in everything happening around not only with his ideology but also his presence.

Even in the hectic situations, he has been managing his plan of schedule. The problem, however, remains with the Vijayawada police and the security personnel. If the CM is going to attend a programme in the city, throughout that route, police staff will be deputed on the roads for security.

The traffic has to be monitored while the convoy of the Chief Minister of almost ten vehicles moves on to the destination. They have to stop the traffic on the route for more than 15 minutes. Even the parking of the CM’s convoy is also an issue for the security personnel of the CMO. Major programmes or meetings are conducting in hotels or halls on the MG Road, which will have huge traffic.

Security staff of the Chief Minister and the Vijayawada police have been coordinating with each other and and have been able to managed traffic. They need to do some hard homework to manage all these things. Mr Naidu, is looking to remain in power by showing speedy development without caring for such small things, leaving them to bureaucrats.
