Indian Navy show enthrals people on the beach
Visakhapatnam: The Ramakrishna Beach in Vizag city that is most frequented by people on Monday wore the look of a war scene be-side a tourist spot with over 10,000 people watching the annual operational display by the Eastern Naval Command’s (ENC) might.
Indian naval personnel observed the 46th Navy Day where the ENC displayed its maritime, air and onshore capabilities showcasing the might of its fleet. On display were Indian Navy’s premier warships, INS Ranvir, INS Sahyadri, INS Kamorta and INS Khanjar, carrying the Indian flag onboard while launching dinghies with naval commandos.
The seafront was transformed into a wonderful sight with fast attack crafts (FAC) and aircraft displaying skills and might of the Indian Navy as the ENC showcased its operational capability. The Naval commandos were joined in the sea by orange-dressed naval commandos air-dropped by a naval helicopter, making for a visual feast to public.
The naval sea-craft carried tanks that rolled out from there followed by a stream of soldiers who again staged a tank-backed ‘attack’ on the ‘enemy.’Most of the people captured the maritime capabilities of the sea force with their mobile phone cameras.
