The cases were filed even on the names of dead people, Mr Rama Rao said.

Hyderabad: The pensions promised by the TRS’ partial manifesto will be implemented from December 11, after Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao takes oath as Chief Minister, caretaker minister K.T. Rama Rao.

Addressing a meeting in Yadadri, he said, “The TRS government will give Rs 2,016 as an old age pension by revising the eligibility age to 55 from 60. The disabled will get pension of Rs 3,016. The government will give Rs 3,000 to unemployed youth as allowance and about 10 lakh unemployed youth will benefit from this.”

He said Congress governments used to give only six hours of free electricity to the farm sector, that too in phases. The Chandrasekhar Rao government implemented 24x7 free power for agriculture and also gave loan waiver of Rs 17,000 crore, he said. “If Mr Chandrasekhar Rao comes back to power, Rs 1 lakh loan waiver will be given to farmers and Rythu Bandhu will be enhanced to Rs 10,000 per acre.”

He said that Congress had filed more than 200 cases to stall development. “The cases were filed even on the names of dead people,” Mr Rama Rao said.
