Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Zone of the the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation will soon implement the Lumi Plan Intellectual Transport system between Koti and Secunderabad.
To introduce this technology in the public transport system, the government has sought the assistance of France.
Transport minister P. Mahender Reddy said that Mr Alexander, the ambassador of France, will be visiting the city and a meeting with RTC officials will be held to implement the new system under a pilot project. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 40 crore. The system will enable accuracy in information apart from strengthening the existing transport system.”
