JNTU Anantapur Bags 7 ISO Certifications

Kurnool: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Anantapur (JNTUA) has received ISO certifications for the systems it has been running at the institution.

JNTUA got ISO 21001:2018 for Educational Quality Management System, ISO 50001:2018 for Energy Management System, ISO 27001:2013 for Information Security Management System, ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management System, ISO 21001:2018 for JNTUA College of Engineering Educational Quality Management System, ISO 21001:2018 for JNTUA Oil Technological and Pharmaceutical Research Institute Educational Quality Management System, and ISO 21001:2018 JNTUA School of Management Studies Educational Quality Management System.

“These certifications underscore JNTUA's dedication to high-quality education, energy efficiency, information security, and environmental protection,” JNTUA vice chancellor Prof. G. Ranga Janardhana underlined.

He emphasised that these systems promote sustainability of quality education while reducing the carbon footprint of the various departments run by the university.

HYM International Certifications, Hyderabad, chairman Alapati Sivaiah handed over the certificates to university authorities on Thursday.

University rector Prof. M. Vijaya Kumar, registrar Prof. C. Sashidhar, IQAC director Prof. G.V. Subba Reddy, JNTUA College of Engineering Anantapur, principal Prof. S.V. Satyanarayana, deputy registrar N. Madhusudhana Reddy, assistant registrar Murali Mohana Rao, and directors of the university participated in the award ceremony.
