720 Beneficiaries Receive 2BHK Houses in Third Phase Distribution in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Around 720 beneficiaries were handed over houses in the third phase of distribution of 2BHK houses under GHMC limits by minister for animal husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav here on Thursday.
The houses were built at a cost of Rs 68 crore over an area of six acres in Venkatapuram, Medchal constituency.
Addressing the gathering, the minister said, “Telangana is the only state providing double bedroom houses with all facilities free of cost to poor families. More than 60,000 houses have been allotted to the eligible beneficiaries in three phases. The distribution of houses is transparent and the beneficiaries are selected without any political interference and by way of an online draw using the randomisation method.”
