Kumaraswamy ruled out any further cut in fuel prices as his government had already announced a reduction in prices a fortnight ago.

Kerala indicated it will not be reducing local duty on fuel as it would adversely affect the state's revenue. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal demanded that Centre cut excise duty by Rs 10 per litre on petrol and diesel.
