Shamshabad: Police rescues kidnapped baby
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police solved the kidnapping case of a four-month-old baby in Shamshabad. The kidnapper tried to evade CCTVs and did not use mobile phones while keeping the baby in custody for four days.
The accused, Hamsa, had befriended the baby’s mother, Rani, under the pretext of purchasing new clothes for the child. After diverting the attention of the mother, Hamsa fled away with the child and was planning to sell the baby with the help of a cab driver, G. Chandrakanth, with whom she was in love. The baby was handed over to the Shishuvihar for further care.
The baby’s mother, Elizabeth Rani, recently adopted the child from her biological parents who belong to to Nagaram Thanda in Maheshwaram mandal.
Ms P. V. Padmaja, DCP, Shamshabad, said, “After taking Hamsa into custody, action will be initiated against the original parents, Rani and other middle men.
